My name is Inés from Belgium and now in 2023 I'm 22 years old. My journey began when my best friend (Katia) introduced me to BTS in 2018. She had been already an ARMY for 3 to 4 years before.
So one day on Youtube I found the music video of BTS “Idol”, that's when I fell in love with the way that Korean artists use and enjoy making music and preforming. How they focus on every aspect not just music but also make-up, beauty and fashion.
Since my teenage years I have been struggling and insecure about my appearance and my body but with BTS I have grown to accept and to love myself and to cherish myself. Now after 5 years that I discovered South-Korea I watched many K-dramas and listened to different K-pop groups.
I had the chance to earn some money with my student job I invested in Korean skincare products but before I did my investigation about all sorts of products and types of skin concerns so that I would choose the best for my skin because since I was little my mother told me I have sensitive skin, like some fabrics cause my skin to be irritated. In the beginning it was difficult to find Korean beauty products here in Belgium. Then I found on TikTok a K-beauty and Korean skincare business located in The Netherlands with shipping to Belgium.
Slowly I began to find my way into K-beauty with my skincare products and my skin has never been better. Next I looked into Korean make-up products and the way they use them because I was a beginner with make-up at that time.
I know that in South-Korea there are some strict beauty standards and that some people are really extreme into that but I'm just focusing to better my self-esteem and life. I just hope to be my best self for myself and for the people who love me.
I wanted to create a place like this where you can find all the necessary information about skincare and how to treat all your problems withouth to think about other things and just to focus about yourself. Like I learned to love myself, I want you to also learn to love yourself.
